A reputable Legal Office located in Downtown is hiring a Intern Lawyer.
Job Requirements:
1- Legal Research and Analysis:
- Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to ongoing and potential litigation matters.
- Assist in reviewing and analyzing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
- Conduct legal research on various corporate and business law issues.
- Analyze and interpret laws, regulations, and legal precedents to provide insightful recommendations.
- Organize and manage case-related documents and information.
2- Drafting reviewing legal documents and Contracts:
- Contribute to the drafting of legal documents, such as complaints, answers, motions, and briefs.
- Assist in preparing legal correspondence and communication with opposing parties.
- Review, draft, and assist in negotiating a variety of contracts, including but not limited to vendor agreements, client contracts, and partnership agreements.
- Ensure contracts comply with legal requirements and company policies.
3- Court Appearances and Hearings:
- Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as needed.
- Take part in the preparation for court appearances, including witness interviews and evidence gathering.
4- Client Communication:
- Work closely with clients to gather information, provide updates on case progress, and address any concerns.
- Assist in preparing clients for depositions and court appearances.
5- Corporate Governance:
- Assist in maintaining corporate records and documentation.
- Support compliance with corporate governance requirements and best practices.
6- Legal Documentation:
- Prepare legal documents, including resolutions, board minutes, and other corporate documents.
- Assist in due diligence processes related to corporate transactions.
7- Intellectual Property:
- Working on intellectual property matters including trademark and copyright issues.
- Assist in managing the Client intellectual property portfolio.
8- Compliance:
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the company.
- Assist in developing and implementing compliance programs.
9- Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate with Clients and associates to gather information and provide legal guidance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on legal and business matters.
10- Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support to the team, including maintaining case files and calendars, organizing documents, maintaining legal databases, and managing legal correspondence.
- Assist in managing billing and invoicing related to litigation matters.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a law school program or recent law school graduate.
- Strong academic record.
- Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Familiarity with civil procedure and litigation processes.
- Knowledge of corporate governance principles and business law.
- Familiarity with contract law and legal drafting.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Location: Downtown, Lebanon
Salary: Negotiable Salary + bonuses
Working Hours: Monday till Friday from 9:00 till 18:00
