A Multinational Holding company located in Beirut is hiring a Group Marketing Manager:
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Group Marketing Strategy & Roadmap
Perform a Marketing heath check assessment across the Group and identify gaps and corrective actions.
Based on the aforementioned health check and in coordination with the CEO, the executive team and the business and brand managers, build needed Central Marketing Services Strategic roadmap.
Lead the implementation of CEMAS roadmap.
Ensure full coordination between CEMAS team, internal and external stakeholders on the key marketing initiatives taking place across the Group.
Monitor, analyze and report on the performance of the company’s marketing activities. Share recommendations, learnings and best practices.
Digital Marketing & Customer Data Lab Capacity Building
Build a Best in Class Customer Centric Function that allows operations to deeply know their customers and CEMAS to become a 4PL.
Set the CEMAS direction for the group and build marketing capabilities in the various operations, functions and markets.
Build the automated data lab, systems, processes and reports that will allow the operations to best know and serve their customers.
Advice and support businesses on key strategic/operational marketing opportunities.
Manage the Marketing Innovation team, assess viability of and feed trends and innovation into the company.
Develop within the team a culture of customer service excellence aiming to enhance the company’s operations.
Collaborate with senior team members across all departments to uncover insights and create innovative marketing and branding strategies.
Source talent to ensure the curation and retention of specialist skill sets across the team.
Identify ways to grow the digital marketing capabilities of the company and secure resources.
Routinely share strategies, progress, results, learnings, and relevant industry trends, with the broader team.
Guide the group on strategic projects e.g. diversification opportunities, category expansions, development of new concepts, new countries, new brand equities.
Enhance cross-functional ways of working to reinforce synergies at Group Level.
Promote and champion inspirational collective leadership in and around the team as per the company’s values.
Automation, Customer and Market Intelligence
Establish and share with the rest of the organization regular market intelligence and consumer reports around the CEMAS team area of expertise as well as results, opportunities and recommendations.
Monitor the industries that the company operates in, identifying key trends in communication, events, CRM, media planning, digital marketing, PR, Social Corporate Responsibility & other related activities.
Establish and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders including agencies, media groups, suppliers but also key influencers and enablers.
Monitor consumer, market studies & research to spot opportunities for business development.
Overview creative agencies and retainer partners.
Continuously ensure that the company’s marketing goals are communicated across the organization and improve company’s marketing outreach efforts.
Review and improve all automated solutions in order to enhance ways of working and customer data management, reporting and analysis.
Enhance strategic marketing reports and analysis that will help guide marketing-related strategic decisions.
Budget Controls & Financial Performance
Negotiate corporate deals with third parties to improve ROI and to serve the business needs and the company’s vision.
Develop ROI/assessment tools on marketing activities, monitor and take corrective actions when needed.
Review the Group’s marketing spending making sure budgets are respected and wisely invested.
Look constantly for budget optimization opportunities within the department or in business planning.
Monitor, review, and report on all marketing activities, results, and Return on Investment (ROI).
Efficiently manage and streamline annual CEMAS budgets.
Consistently identify new or expanded revenue opportunities and strategize the implementation of plans.
Plan on turning the CEMAS into a 4PL best in class center: prepare a business plan and present it to the CEO.
CEMAS Structure, Systems, Processes & SOPs
Review, implement, and maintain a comprehensive set of Corporate Marketing standards and procedures to be communicated and followed by all stakeholders.
Continuously review and enhance CEMAS systems, processes, solutions and SOPs.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior forward-looking marketing company/agency/multinational.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior management role.
Minimum required bachelor degree – MBA preferred
Experience in FMCG, in retail in a multinational is highly desired.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Superior interpersonal, social and organizational skills.
Collective leadership is a MUST.
Proven project management skills.
Previous experience in CRM, SEO and Digital Marketing is a MUST. Working knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO), lead generation and affiliate marketing practices, techniques, and outcome expectations.
Sense of prioritization and urgency (time management skills). Ability to manage with agility by priorities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in French, English and Arabic.

Ability to reskill, upskill, reverse leadership and mentorship.
Excellent networking skills: the ability to develop strong relationships with cross-departmental team members to enable collaboration, advice sharing, and directional leadership where required. Ability to build strong long-term relationships with strategic partners such as media, agencies, suppliers and key influencers. Initiative taker with strong leadership and influencing skills.
Excellent understanding of regulations, professional standards, policies, procedures, and legislation.
Able to make quick but rational decisions when working under pressure.
Proven track record in cranking insightful consumer audits or consumer trends analysis.
Strategic planner with strong analytical skills and business acumen.
Strong coaching & mentoring skills. Ability to grow a team and rethink ways of working.
